Pedro Bonassoli is co-author of the book Orofacial Medicine - Fundamental Bases, 2016. One of the creators of Orofacial Medicine, he actively participated in the drafting of Bill 4405/2019 in progress at the National Congress in Brasília/DF, authored by the Federal Deputy Captain Augustus. He is the founder of the Brazilian Association of Orofacial Medicine, which initially had its headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, and was the first vice-president of ABMOF. He is currently Executive Director, being Treasurer of the Brazilian Association of Orofacial Medicine in the 2021-2022 administration. He is a member of the Brazilian Dental Association of Paraná.
He was coordinator of the Professional Development Committee of the Regional Council of Dentistry of Paraná (CRO-PR). He was a scholarship holder of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (Scientific Scholarships) for 2 years and is a former member of the Tutorial Teaching Program - PETPUCPR. He was part of the PUCPR Triage Center for 4 years. He was on duty at the Emergency Room of Dental Surgeons at Hospital Cajuru, currently Marcelino Champagnat, for 2 years. He has already assisted professional soccer players at the Coritiba FootBall Club.

Dental surgeon since 2009, he studied specialization in Orthodontics at UNICSUL (SP), has completed or ongoing postgraduate studies in Minor Oral Surgery (UNINGÁ), Anatomy and Associated Pathology (Future College), Implantology (ABOPR), Prosthodontics on Implant ( ABOPR), Cephalometry (UFPR). He also has courses in the area of Physiotherapy, in Head and Neck - Myofascial Release (IBRATE), Face Neurological Diseases (PhysioCursos SP), Sports Dentistry (Moutex Accredited), Facial Lipoplasty (IOA- Baln. Camboriú), LC Dental (IOA- Curitiba), among others.
He is a professor of the Specialization Course in TMD and Orofacial Pain, and Functional Orthopedics of the Jaws, of Prof. Dr. Kayo Motta, Paraná (Course focusing on Chronic Medical Diseases originating from cranio-orofacial imbalance).
It has participated in several congresses, scientific exhibitions, seminars and national and international events, such as International Congresses of Dentistry, National Congress of Clinical Genetics 2005, Health Promotion Seminars of the Government of Paraná, University Seminars and so on.
He was a TCC advisor and participated in the panel, in a work on Trigeminal Neuralgia, by dentists Dr. Bruna Esteves and Dr. Kátia Sousa, from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (SP)
