SPECIALTIES
FACIAL ORTHOPEDIA

Functional Orthopedics of the Jaws / Facial is a specialty that solves bone, muscle and function imbalances in the jaws and joints, acting directly on the 32 gonphosis, the 2 temporomandibular joints, and also on the cervical, in the atlas-occipital joint. The treatment directly influences the control of snoring and apnea, body posture, among other chronic diseases caused by the imbalance of the stomatognathic system (cranio-orofacial).
ORTHODONTICS

Orthodontics is a specialty that corrects the position of teeth and maxillary bones with the help of fixed or mobile devices.
CRANIOFACIAL AND TMJ PAINS

Headaches, migraines, some types of neuralgia, neck pain, bruxism, pain and tingling in shoulders and arms, crackles and noises in the mouth joint, some ear, nose, gastritis, reflux, etc. Several of these problems can originate from an inadequate functioning of the cranio-orofacial system. A system in disarray can have a devastating and gradual effect. Even reaching long-distance regions, such as the spine, hips and knees. Something that people often do not consider that the cause of these symptoms and pathologies may be in the noblest area of the human being: mouth and nose that do not work properly.
SPORTS

Proper breathing, promoted by the correct position of the tongue and facial bones, is just one of the many benefits that a balanced orofacial system can bring to professional and amateur athletes. A mouth breathing athlete has an increased risk of myocardial infarction, a drop in performance, gastroenterological problems, among other diseases. Correct nasal breathing enhances sports performance.
IMPLANTONTICS

Implantology is a specialty aimed at the implantation of alloplastic materials in the orofacial region (generally in the mouth to replace teeth, but it can be used on the face to replace ears, nose and eyes, for example) for fixation of unitary, partial or removable, and total.
PHYSIOTHERAPY

For some treatments, I count on the help of Dr. Larissa Passos, Physiotherapist in the orthopedic area, TMD and Orofacial Pain and Respiratory Physiotherapy.
Physiotherapy works to prevent and rehabilitate people's physical and functional capacity. The physiotherapist applies various therapies and techniques to treat illnesses and injuries.
